„Chasing Yesterday“, das zweite Album von Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, erschien im Februar. Jetzt koppelt der Ex-Oasis-Songwriter den Song „Lock All The Doors“ als Single aus, die dazugehörige B-Seite hat Gallagher jetzt online gestellt.
Das Stück heißt „Here’s A Candle (For Your Birthday Cake)“ und ist ein sympathisch-schunkeliger Country-Rocker mit Banjo, Bar-Piano und einem Kazoo-Solo und ist bei Vevo im Stream verfügbar.
Am 25. September soll dann „Where The City Meets The Sky: Chasing Yesterday: The Remixes“ erscheinen, eine EP, die als Doppel-Heavyweight-Vinyl (limitiert auch auf pink und blau) und digital erhältlich sein soll. Auf der EP gibt es Mixe von Beyond The Wizard’s Sleeve, Andrew Weatherall, Toydrum, Massive Attacks 3D, Psychemagik und David Holmes (mit Vintage-Synthesizern und Kinderchor). Aktuell gibt es schon mal den fast achtminütigen Mix zu „In The Heat Of The Moment“ von Andrew Weatherall zu hören sowie „The Right Stuff“ im Remix von Psychemagik.
