Die Termine für die Reunion-Shows von Life Of Agony mit Keith Caputo in Deutschland sind bestätigt. Im Rahmen dessen präsentieren wir euch ein besonderes Highlight:
Die Band wird am 21. Oktober 2003 beim VISIONS-Festival im Dortmunder Soundgarden neben drei weiteren Bands die Headliner-Position übernehmen! Die anderen Bands und weitere Infos zu diesem Event werden bald bekanntgegen.
Einige Klarstellungen gab es auch zur Absage Caputos beim VISIONS-Westend-Festival. Dan De Vita, der Manager von LOA, der engen Kontakt zu Keith pflegt, aber nicht für seine Business-Belange zuständig ist, brachte Licht in einige Unklarheiten und Missverständnisse und erläuterte die Hintergründe:
„Keith’s initial plan was to schedule other performances in Europe around your festival to generate enough income to make the trip. For various reasons this did not happen. Unfortunately, Keith confirmed his appearance on your festival prior to having a final budget in place. After seeing the costs, he discovered that he would be losing quite a bit of money (which he doesn’t have) and that he would either have to cancel or ask for more to cover costs. Keith’s last concern is money, so he certainly wasn’t trying to ’suddenly double his fee‘. He did suddenly realize though, that he was going to lose a lot of money and that there was no way he could afford to do the show. I agree poor planning is not a valid excuse but please understand that there was nothing malicious on Keith’s part. Keith is one of the most appreciative artists I have worked with and I know he is grateful for your support as is Life Of Agony. Please again accept our apologies for the cancelation and confusion.“
