Justin Greaves spielt bei Crippled Black Phoenix unter anderem Gitarre, Schlagzeug und Keyboard. Außerdem hat er eine 14-jährige Tochter. Die hört My Chemical Romance und verfolgt dementsprechend auch das öffentliche Auftreten von deren Sänger Gerard Way. Eben dieses Auftreten passt Greaves allerdings gar nicht.

Greaves zu Folge veröffentlicht Way auf Facebook Beiträge wie ‚No one dies a virgin, life fucks us all‘. ‚Junge Leute brauchen diese unreife und idiotische Rhetorik nicht, die ihnen nichts weiter als Selbstzweifel, oder schlimmer, Selbsthass vermittelt‘, so Greaves via Facebook. ‚Ich bin zu 100 Prozent gegen Zensur, ich bin aber auch zu 100 Prozent für Verantwortung gegenüber einer beeinflussbaren Fangemeinde. Ich hoffe ich kann meine Ein-Mann-Tirade gegen Scheißkerle wie ihn irgendwo veröffentlichen. Es ist für eine gute Sache.‘

‚May i draw your attention to something….I am personally offering Gerard Way (My Chemical Romance) a chance to explain his apparent lack of responsibility towards his young fans. Not for the first time i have been confronted with a downright idiotic statement from him which anyone with half a brain can realise is damaging to a young impressionable mind. Gerard Way, you are a fucking disgrace… Give me 5 minutes with the guy and i'll show him just how fucked up his life can be. CRETIN.
OK, so you understand, i'm not following this fool as i'm sure you can tell i'm not a fan… nor do i care about him… that is untill i kep seeing his statements, and having a 14yr old daughter who does follow him, i see his latest post…… something like ’no one dies a virgin, life fucks us all..‘.. Young kids do not need this immature and idiotic rhetoric giving them seeds of self-doubt, or worse, self-hate. This of course comes after i saw Mr Way state, and i quote ‚It's ok to die‘ in a well known magazine. I am 100% against cencorship, but i am 100% in favour of responsibility towards an impressionable fanbase. .. I hope i can my one-man tirade against shitbags like this published somewhere, it's for a good cause!
