Vestiges (USA) haben mit "The Decent of Man" schon ein ordentliches Brett hingelegt. Ghaust (Indonesien) sind evtl. von der 10" Split mit BLCKWVS bekannt (letzte Chance übrigens, hab weniger als 10 übrig...).

Hier noch ein bisschen Promoblah und der Song von Vestiges sowie einer von Ghaust:

Heavy, monolithic instrumental post-rock meets the unfriendly atmosphere of the early SWITCHBLADE and CULT OF LUNA recordings. Dark riffing and spooky organ-vibes team up with a massive bass and drum work. Heavy and excellent produced (Tonmeisterei), with enough room to give every musician his own special place. Some songs are more rocking; think of DOOMRIDERS meets PELICAN, and some songs carry a slight '70s doom and even okkult-spirit. You guys read this over and over, but the 2nd BLCKWVS full-length will be a massive step forward.

The sounds of this album may remind you of the good old records of PELICAN and ISIS, but OMEGA MASSIF go much further. The spiralling melodies overlaying the rolling riffs and pummeling basses make the songs of GEISTERSTADT sound celestial and infernal at the same time. The diversity and ingenuity of OMEGA MASSIF is maybe best seen in the 10 minute monster ‘Nebelwand’ - starting with fragile drums and melodies, the tension slowly increases by including an accordion (!!), followed by short outbursts of massive sound walls. However, OMEGA MASSIF are not in a hurry, and so it takes 6 minutes until the powerful sound storms interweaved with the elevated melodies typical for the band finally take the lead and dominate the song until the end. This is not the usual silent start/big climax thing well-known from postrock records - this is one of the best instrumental/metal/doomcore records in the past years! And remember that this is only OMEGA MASSIF’s debut, one can only vaguely guess what is to be expected in the future.

so, our tape-label is named LA CASSETTE JAUNE. In every release there will be only ONE yellow cassette thats randomly picked. But why another tape-label? Well, we are both not the youngest guys around and still remember sitting in front of the radio taping our favorite songs. Making tapes for your friends or for yourself for a long journey has always been a pleasure. We think a cassette is just a beautiful medium that should survive in times of mp3s, just like the vinyl.

The first release is going to be "OMEGA MASSIF - Geisterstadt". 49 copies and off course a yellow one in between are almost ready. Only the inlay has to be made. Its 4 € plus shipping and you can (pre)order now via maniyaxrecords@gmail.com. Its going to take another few days until its finally done, maybe we can already bring it to the CRY ME A RIVER.

nachdem der Erstling gut angekommen ist, gibt es Ende Januar die Repress. Das Werbegefasel sagt:

"Up and coming German crust act Downfall of Gaia traverse more harrowing emotion than many bands do in their entire discographies. Both intensely atmospheric and relentlessly hard-hitting, the band takes hardcore fundamentals and pushes them to emotional extremes, flickering between fragility and ferocity." People throw in names like ALPINIST and FALL OF EFRAFA! This record comes in the opposite artwork of the first pressing. Means white cardboard, black 180gr. thick superb vinyl and an inlay instead of the poster. But I got some posters from the first pressing left and will give them in the preorders here and there! (Check out the pic in the attachement!)
